Welcome, friends. Prairie Abortion Fund (formerly ND WIN Fund) is a non-profit serving North Dakotans, South Dakotans, Minnesotans, and people who travel to our region for abortion care. We advocate for a world where all abortions are supported, folks who have abortions are embraced, and people who provide abortions are celebrated.
We bridge the gap between you and your abortion care by offering financial assistance for folks traveling to, from, and within the Upper Midwest.

Support the work of PAF by getting involved
Solidarity funding is a powerful act of communal care—pledging financial support for someone’s abortion when they, or their clinic, fall outside the geographic or policy limits of their local abortion fund. This communal response bridges critical funding gaps where institutional support is restricted or unavailable.
Dozens of abortion funds nationwide rely on solidarity funding, especially for abortions later in pregnancy, when costs can reach $5,000 to $20,000 or more. By sharing financial responsibility, this model ensures that appointments move forward without placing the full burden on the client, clinic, or a single fund.
In 2024, Prairie Abortion Fund helped support 23 people through solidarity funding—3% of our annual budget. People from North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota also accessed the care they needed thanks to solidarity pledges from partner funds. We’re proud to continue this essential work into 2025.
